Colors and News and Events, Oh My!

Colors and News and Events, Oh My!

Welcome to the Critical Sheep blog, Yarn Clippings!

Here we’ll be talking about yarn we have coming up, patterns available to use for our yarn, upcoming events and all other manner of fun stuff!

It’s been a whirlwind three months since we opened our “doors” in March and we’re looking forward to mixing up some new concoctions and colors for the coming seasons. Currently we have bright reds, pinks, greens and purples, but this season we’re looking to display more variegated and speckled yarns!

These gorgeous colors are easy to make and beautiful in both the hank and the knitting! The beauty of the 50 gram skeins of D4 is that you can get one skein and make two little socks or a cute shawlette. Two skeins makes a big shawl or two long socks. Anything more than that and the sky’s the limit!

Do you want to see what Critical Sheep Yarns look like in person?

Many people say they can’t make a yarn decision without feeling it and seeing the colors in person, so now is your chance! Critical Sheep Yarns will be on display and for sale live at the 2016 Milwaukee Makers’ Faire at the Wisconsin Expo Center at State Fair Park. Chief Dyer Amanda and her Herders will be on hand to answer any questions you have about Critical Sheep Yarns and you can experience all the bright colors and sweet scents available! Plus, all visitors of the Critical Sheep booth will leave with a free gift!
